This game was re-opened sometime during april 2008. This hub is from the original game, pokemon lightningyellow, the files got deleted so I remade it into this much more successful version in about a month of work. Just think about it. 1 month of work and this brings us version 2.5, imagine another month when there will be version 4 or higher, imagine the number of pokemon, items, moves, starters, battle system updates, and any other miscellaneous updates. NOTICE: This game supports multikeying, if you wish to do so you may not be the same type of character, for example you can have one key as a trainer and one key as a pokemon to get to play both roles in this Massive Pokemon RPG. Pokemon Darklight is a Non Rip Game, I do not even like to get near rips anymore and I thought that if I had made a rip I would be supporting all the other rips on BYOND. This game does not use the codes that about 1/4 of the pokemon games on BYOND are using from a library for npc catchable pokemon, this is completly original by a coder(ME) that likes to have fun experimenting with codes until I get them perfectly how I want them. This game is Pokemon Adventure RPG, You can battle against other trainers, other gym leaders, or you could play as a Pokemon, Training, Learning new moves,and fighting other pokemon, including trainers and gym leaders pokemon, you will unlock more and more of the region as you progress through the game getting new badges, currently there are 4 badges with the abilities, Cut, Surf, Rock Smash, and Rock Climb, even though Rock climb hasn't been used for anything yet, currently there are about 55 playable from the start pokemon, and about 8 unlockable pokemon including ones like Riolu, Mewtwo or Darkrai. There are 3 quests to complete for trainers, and 2 quests for pokemon. The game revolves around a story in which you start off your journey and professor Rowans scientist tells you about the missing legendary pokemon, you then get excited and want to get to see one of the legendary pokemon not knowing that Team Galactic is using a new device to take control of the pokemon they use it on, they have currently used it on lots of legendary pokemon and are planning to use them to have themselves all the legendary pokemon and take over the Darklight Region, which is where you step in, now you will play as either Lucas, Dawn, Tyson, or even a Pokemon at the beginning of the game and will unlock different playables as you reach further in the game. You now will start off your journey in Cheri Town and will try to obtain all the gym badges, Unlock new characters or pokemon at the game corner,Train to Become one of the strongest Pokemon, rescue the legendary pokemon from team galactics control, help out people by doing quests for them to become a Pokemon Ranger, or even becoming a bad, Pokemon Hunter which steal pokemon from other players using a new type of pokeball they made for the purpose of stealing captured pokemon. Sounds fun doesn't it? 1. Listen to the GMs or face being banned. Some of the GMs are more flexible than others, so don't break any rules, especially around the more intolerant. Just a fair warning. :3 2. If you spot a bug in the game, don't abuse it. Report it to a GM. :3 3. This is a kids game. Absolutely no swearing, cussing, sexual terms, etc. 4. Do NOT spam the say/shout. That means no "FDFJSKFJDF" or any caps spamming. 5. No advertising for other games or asking for help with coding. Also, don't ask for the MSN/AIM of the owner or other GMs. They'll give it to you if they want you to have it. 6. Try to be respectful to other players in the game, and don't do anything n00bish. o.O 7. Do NOT ask to be GM. This will decrease your chances. We'll make you a GM if we feel you deserve it. The best thing to do is apply on this forum if applications are currently open. 8. Don't abuse Multikeying and absolutely NO Spawn or Dummy killing. 9. Don't ask GMs for special favors like teleporting you to them, etc. You may ask for help with bugs and such, of course. :3 10. Kill only inside the PK zone or face jailing. 11. Don't recreate more than 5 times a week. 13. If you know English, speak it. Other languages are not recognized by most players and therefore won't be responded to. 14. Have fun! Total Game Completion(Mapping) = 30% Total Game Completion(Icons) = 25% Overall Game Completion = 25%, Don't believe me? Just keep playing and everyday you will get the message Game Updating in 30 seconds. The system I thought was only worth 20% because their are some bugs that need to be fixed, some more training methods, more starters, more npc's, more quests, more HM's, and more that are yet to come. Mapping I gave a 30% because the region will have 8 gyms as any other normal pokemon game, which makes up to be about 60%, then there is the extra map features which takes up another 20%, and lastly the elite 4 which will take up the rest of the map. Icons I gave a 25% because I only have about 70 of the icons in the game as playables, later on there will be probably up to 280. Overall the game comes to a low 25%, Yup, only a quarter of the game is finished, so how about four times the amount of features this game had.
